Great new group on interns for The Soap Factory in 2010.
Building and Facilities Management
Matthew Van Dusen: Matt Graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter in 2008 with a studio art degree. He has worked for the past year at the Northern Clay Center and in Collegeville MN as an artist’s apprentice. He has a large breadth of knowledge related to ceramic production and firing techniques.
Installation Team Leads
Gina Hunt: Gina graduated from MSU in Mankato in 2009. She has worked independently towards her own progress as an artist and received an undergraduate research grant.
Brian Kehoe: Brian graduated from St. Olaf college in Northfield in 2007. He continued for 1 year as an undergraduate apprentice through St. Olaf to serve as a teaching assistant.
Jordan Kocak: Jordan graduated from the U of M Twin Cities in 2008. He has been volunteering with The Soap Factory since 2008. He currently works for Habitat for Humanity in the twin cities managing construction projects and volunteers.
Lisa Jurgens: Lisa graduated from MCAD with a BFA in 1996 and has completed several other technical degrees recently. She has worked with the Walker Art Center, MIA and currently the Science Museum. She has been a volunteer at The Soap Factory since 2009.
Christina Croll: Christina is currently a student at Macalester College. She is focusing on Art History and Chinese Language. Christina is originally from New York where she had the opportunity to intern for an artist on several large scale installations.
SFG4 Associate Producer
Siddarth Saikia: Sid is currently a student at Macalester College. He was originally born in New Delhi and after living in different places around the world he never expected to live in Minneapolis. He is committed to becoming a part of the Twin Cities Arts community and first came to The Soap Factory through Workhorse as an artist in November 2009.
Research and Data Analysis
Danielle Hans: Dani is graduating from the U of M Twin Cities in Spring 2010 with a degree in Art History and Global Studies. She has been a volunteer at The Soap Factory since 2009.
